If you witness a Pookestra performance, you are listening to a group of dedicated musicians directed by Carolin Pook, playing music that has been created within one week, was rehearsed once and will never be performed again after its premiere. This music has not been written for instruments rather than the people who play them. Unexpected arrangements might take your ears anywhere but the obvious and you will find yourself in a cloud of ugly and comfortable sounds, making your mind wander between now and hysteria.
